Announcing the 1st Annual Trivia Contest at the 2024 Franklin County Fair

EDIT: Contest times have changes. Wednesday/Thursday/Friday contests have moved from 2pm to 5:30pm, Saturday finals have moved from 2pm to 3pm.

The Franklin County Fair is proud to introduce the installment of our new Trivia Contest being held at the 2024 fair. The event is being held in the Food Court Entertainment Center. Merrill McKee of M-N-M Entertainment will be the quizmaster for the contest. The contest will be held on Wednesday afternoon at 5:30 PM, Thursday afternoon at 5:30 PM and Friday afternoon at 5:30 PM. Each day 10 teams will compete, with the winning team moving on to the playoffs on Saturday at 3 PM. Prizes are as follows:

Wednesday winners: 2 track tickets to Jackson Dean with special guest The Castellows at the Franklin County Fair.

Thursday winners: 2 track tickets to Lonestar & Diamond Rio at the Franklin County Fair

Friday winners: 2 track tickets to 38 Special at the Franklin County Fair

Saturday overall champions: 2 track tickets to 38 Special at the Franklin County Fair and dinner for 2 at your choice of food stand on the fairgrounds.

Entry forms are available t the fair office or online on our Forms & Entries page and its free to enter. We are limiting entries to 10 teams each day. Lumberjack Weekend Coming September 14 & 15th

We are excited to announce that we will host a Lumber Jack Weekend on Saturday September 14th and Sunday September 15th, 2024. The New York State Lumberjack Association (NYSLA) will present 2 days of competitive events. Some of the scheduled events are Axe throwing, Jack and Jill Underhand Throwing. 2 Man Crosscut, Block Chop, Springboard Chop and other events for both Lumberjacks and Lumberjills. Both day's events start at approximately 9:30 AM and run through 4:00 PM. There will be all types of vendors offering their wares, food vendors with various types of delicious foods and several agricultural and wood cutting and wood carving displays. Continue to check back as we are constantly adding new vendors and new event to this show.

Vendor Applications Now Available For The 8th Annual Franklin County Agricultural Society Auto Show

Vendors! Mark your calendars for June 1 & 2, 2024. The Franklin County Agricultural Society is hosting a Car Show at the Fairgrounds, and in conjunction with this car show we are having a Craft & Vendor Show. We would like to reserve a spot for you.

 If you are interested in reserving a spot at our Craft & Vendor Show, please fill out and return the Vendor Registration form available here on our website:

 Check in time will be from 12:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. on Friday, May 31st, 2024 at Gate 2 (Poultry Gate off Andrus Street). The hours are: Saturday (8:00 a.m. – 4:00 P.M.), and Sunday (9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.)

 Vendors are required to be in attendance the entire run of the Craft & Vendor Show. Any vendor requiring late check-in and/or early departure will need to make arrangements with the Craft & Vendor Show Director, Kathy Nichols, 518-483-7130 or call the Fair Office at 518-483-0720. (Please indicate on the registration form.) There will be specific site locations for vendors coming late or leaving early.

 There are to be no vehicles driving through the site walkways during the Craft & Vendor Show hours.

 NO VENDORS WILL BE PERMITTED TO PARK IN FRONT OF COMMERCIAL BUILDING ON SUNDAY UNTIL AFTER ALL OF THE CAR SHOW CARS HAVE EXITED THE PREMISES.

 Building(s) will be secured at night.

The Castellows, Coming August 8th to the 2024 Franklin County Fair

The Franklin County Fair is excited to Bring you The Castellows on August 8th 2024.

Neo-Traditional Country music trio, The Castellows, are bringing a literal meaning to the phrase, “family tradition.” The band comprised of sisters Ellie (lead guitar), Powell (banjo) and Lily (vocals), hail from small rural Georgetown, Georgia, but now call Nashville home. The Castellows’ sound is traditional, yet modern. Authentic, yet harnessed. The common thread among the trio, other than their DNA, is their masterful three-part harmonies which blend together to create one singular, almost angelic, voice.

Versus Monster Trucks Joins the 2024 Franklin County Fair Event Lineup

Versus Monster Trucks is heading to the Franklin County Fair in Malone, NY for the FIRST TIME EVER! 5 Monster Trucks are scheduled to make appearances on Wednesday August 7th!

Tickets on sale this Friday, February 23. Adult Grandstand $20, Children (5-12) $10. Free admission for children under 5.

2024 Franklin County Fair Concert Lineup Announcement

The Franklin County Fair in partnership with Explore Adirondack Frontier is proud to announce three concerts for our upcoming 2024 fair.

Thursday, August 8th, the Franklin County Fairgrounds welcome Jackson Dean, sponsored by Casella.

 

Friday, August 9th, the fair is proud to present Lonestar and Diamond Rio, sponsored by Smith Lumber.

 

And finally Saturday, August 10th, the Franklin County Fair brings you 38 Special, sponsored by Arnold Oil and Arnold Lumber and Concrete.
